Wesleyan Warm-up Session II Saturday 8:00 a.m. Session III Saturday 4:00 p.m. Session IV Sunday 8:00 a.m. ****************************************************** About our team....HNHS participates in YMCA competition as well as Connecticut Swimming Inc. (an affiliate of United States Swimming) sponsored meets. Team ProfileThe Bronze team is comprised of entry level swimmers in the 8/u age group. This group of swimmers spends the majority of practice time developing strokes and learning the basics of practice procedures (ie. use of equipment, pace clocks, how to circle swim...) The Silver team is comprised of swimmers 9 - 15. The silver team spends time on improving stroke mechanics and more time on training and conditioning. Admission to this group is based on test sets and age. The Gold team is a group of 11 and overs who have been selected based on a strong dedication and commitment to swimming. They must have and continue to demonstrate the willingness to attend a minimum of 5 practice sessions/week. Admission to this group will be made on the basis of past attendance and results of the test sets and the discretion of the coaches. Senior / National Group. Senior swimming offers athletes from the ages of 13 and up, an opportunity to expand their competitive horizons and challenge themselves at practice and meets.
